Tags

Tags help you organize and categorize your assets by assigning custom labels. You can use tags to group assets by project phase, location, ownership, or any other criteria relevant to your portfolio management needs.

Viewing tags on assets

Tags are displayed on each asset in the asset list and on the asset view page. This makes it easy to identify asset categories at a glance.

Adding and editing tags on assets

You can assign tags to assets in two ways:

From the asset list

To quickly add tags to one or multiple assets from the asset list, select the assets you want to tag by clicking their checkboxes. A floating menu will appear at the bottom of the screen with tag management options. Click the Tags button to add or remove tags from the selected assets.

From asset settings

To add or edit tags for a specific asset, navigate to the asset's settings page. You can access this by clicking the three-dot menu on the right side of the asset in the asset list, or from the asset view page. Tags can be managed in the asset settings interface.

Filtering assets by tags

The asset list supports filtering by tags. Click the Filter button at the top of the asset list and select one or more tags to show only assets with those tags. This allows you to quickly focus on specific groups of assets in your portfolio.

Managing workspace tags

All workspace members can create, edit, and delete tags that are available to everyone in the workspace. To manage your workspace's tag library, navigate to the workspace settings and select the Tags section.

Creating new tags

In the Tags section of workspace settings, click the button to add a new tag. Give your tag a descriptive name that clearly indicates its purpose. Well-chosen tag names help ensure consistent usage across your team.

Editing tags

To rename an existing tag, find it in the Tags section of workspace settings and click the edit option. When you rename a tag, the new name will automatically update on all assets where that tag is used.

Deleting tags

To remove a tag from your workspace, find it in the Tags section of workspace settings and click the delete option. When you delete a tag, it will be removed from all assets where it was previously assigned.

caution

Deleting a tag is permanent and will remove it from all assets in your workspace. Make sure you want to remove the tag before confirming the deletion.

info

Tags are workspace-specific. Each workspace maintains its own set of tags, which are only visible to members of that workspace. Tags are not shared across different workspaces.
