User interface
Navigating Tensor Cloud
Sidebar navigation
The collapsible sidebar on the left is the main way to move around Tensor Cloud. Below the Agent link at the top, it has three sections:
- Portfolio: the building blocks of your renewable energy portfolio, namely Assets, SPVs, Contracts (PPAs and bilateral agreements), and BGs.
- Tasks: tools for operational and financial work, namely Simulations, Forecasting, Revenue, Balancing, and AM.
- Other: market and grid data, the Library (CAPEX, OPEX, and scenarios), data uploads, and settings.
If you have access to more than one workspace, switch between them with the workspace drop-down at the top of the sidebar. The drop-down shows the number of unread notifications in each workspace.
To get more room on a small screen, collapse the sidebar with the Collapse button at its bottom or the [ keyboard shortcut. On narrow screens the sidebar collapses automatically, and on phones you open it from the menu button in the top navigation bar.
Breadcrumbs and top navigation
The breadcrumbs at the top left of the screen show where you are: the path to the current page, with links back to each level above it.
The top right of the screen has the Get support button, the notification center, and your avatar menu. From the avatar menu you can change your language, open your personal settings, open this documentation, or log out.
Common UI elements
Many parts of the interface are shared across Tensor Cloud. This section describes the ones you will see most often.
Date picker
Many pages ask you to select a date. The date picker lets you reach any date with the mouse alone, even one several years back. Move through time by month or by year, or click the current year to open a month and year selector.
