PPA view

The PPA view gives you access to all critical information on the performance of your power purchase agreements (PPAs).

Overview

This is a one-page overview of the essential contract terms and key results of your PPA across several cards.

Contract Terms Card

All items on this card are taken from the contract terms you have set in the PPA and Stakeholders settings. They include the type of PPA, the name of the offtaker, the contract term length, and the start date of the contract.

Pricing Card

There are many different ways to price PPAs to distribute risk and financial returns between the seller and the offtaker. Depending on the pricing scheme you have chosen for the PPA, this card will display different items, all of which are focused on the PPA price.

Besides the pricing scheme itself, possible items shown on this card are:

  • strike price, or strike price at year 1 in case of a PPA with a strike price that escalates over time
  • strike price over contract length as a chart in case of a PPA with a strike price that escalates over time
  • average annual escalation rate in case of a PPA with a strike price that escalates over time
  • cap price for PPAs with a pricing scheme that includes a cap on the PPA price
  • floor price for PPAs with a pricing scheme that includes a floor on the PPA price
  • discount to market for PPAs that derive their PPA price from a percentage discount to the settlement price

Settlement Card

This card displays details on the settlement price formation of the PPA and the distribution of financial returns, which includes the settlement price zone, the settlement market, and the beneficiary of any FIT or FIP subsidy payments.

Volume Card

This shows contracted volume, both in terms of capacity as well as expected annual generation of all assets associated with the PPA.

Asset Locations Card

This shows you an interactive map of all assets under the PPA. Hovering on any of the map markers will show you the name of the asset and its capacity. Other controls are similar to the Asset view Location Card.
