Workspace settings

General

Workspace administrators can rename the active workspace on this page.

Members

This page shows a list of all members of your workspace, their role, the time they joined the workspace, and the last time they were active.

Workspace administrators can invite new members, change roles of existing members, and remove members from the workspace from this page.

Adding and removing members

If you are a workspace administrator, you can click the Invite button on the top right of the user list to invite new workspace members by email. You can enter multiple email addresses separated by comma, space or by pressing enter after each address. You can also paste a list of email addresses.

To remove a member, click the delete icon on the right side of the member list and confirm removal in the popup dialog.

info

If a user is removed from all workspaces, their account will not be deleted. However, to continue to use Tensor Cloud, they will have to be invited by either an admin of an existing workspace, or by Tensor support to create a new workspace.

Member roles

By clicking the edit icon on the right of each member, as a workspace administrator, you can change their role. Currently, we support two roles:

  1. Admins, who can rename the workspace, invite new members to the workspace and change roles of existing members
  2. Users, who can use the platform fully but may not be able to access specific administrative functions such as adding new members or changing their roles
caution

Make sure you monitor the member list from time to time to ensure that no users from outside of your workspace have been invited by one of other administrators unintentionally.

Notifications

On this page, you can manage the email and platform notifications you receive from Tensor Cloud. Notification settings have to be set individually for each workspace.

Stakeholders

In this section, you can manage stakeholders that appear in various places on Tensor Cloud:

  • Developers
  • EPC Providers
  • Offtakers
  • O&M Providers
info

Just adding a company name to any of these lists will not give that company access to any information in your account, nor will it inform the company that you have added it to Tensor Cloud. None of the information in these lists is shared with any other Tensor Cloud customers or with any third parties. These lists are only available to you and people in your workspace to help you better organize your asset portfolio.

API keys

API keys connected to your workspace can be managed from this page. API keys are used to authenticate requests to the Tensor Cloud API. You can create new API keys, view existing keys, and revoke keys that are no longer needed. For more information on how to use API keys, see the API documentation.

danger

Always keep your API keys secure, do not commit them to source control, and confirm that any third-parties you share them with are securely storing and retrieving them. If you believe that your API keys have been compromised, you should revoke them immediately and create new keys.

We recommend that you scope your API keys to only the permissions that are required for the specific tasks you need to perform. For example, if you only need to read asset actual data from Tensor Cloud, you should create a read-only API key. If you need to write actuals back to Tensor Cloud, you should create a read-write key. This will help to minimize the risk of unauthorized access to your data.

Integrations

The integration page allows you to connect your Tensor Cloud workspace to other external services and APIs. Currently, we only support OCCTO as an integration target.

OCCTO integration

The OCCTO integration allows you to submit generation, sales, and procurement plans to OCCTO through Tensor Cloud.

To connect your workspace to OCCTO, you need to provide the following information:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Certificate
  • Certificate PIN
note

We recommend creating a new user in your OCCTO account specifically for the Tensor Cloud integration. This user should have the necessary permissions to submit plans to OCCTO.

Generation plan updates

Tensor Cloud provides two options for your generation plan contents: By default, the generation plan for your BG is updated whenever there are new forecasts available, which could be as frequently as every 30 minutes. Optionally you can fix your generation plan to always exactly equal your sales on JEPX.

Sender

Sender information consists of a sender ID and a sender name.

The sender ID is a unique 4-digit identifier for each grid participant assigned by OCCTO. In many cases this code is suffixed with a single digit indicating the grid area and used as a 5-digit so-called "Operator code".

The sender name is the name of the grid participant as registered with OCCTO. Note that the contents are not checked by OCCTO.

Submitter

Submitting plans to OCCTO requires a unique submitter ID for each grid area. The submitter ID is the same as the JEPX customer ID for the respective grid area.

We currently only support one submitter ID per grid area. Please contact Tensor through the "Get support" button if you need to add more submitter IDs.
