Submitting generation-sales plans
This section provides an overview of how to generate and submit generation-sales plans through Tensor Cloud's balancing interface.
Plan generation types
Tensor Cloud supports generating the following types of plans for OCCTO submission:
- Day-ahead generation-sales plans: Automatically generated based on your latest forecasts and trading positions. This format is also used for 2-days ahead plan submissions.
- Long-term plans (weekly, monthly, yearly): Generated based on asset capacity in accordance with OCCTO rules
Submission workflow
Plans are automatically generated for all balancing groups in their respective grid area. We generate the plans based on confirmed trades and the latest available forecasts.
When you open the Balancing screen, you can select the plan type and the target date at the top of the screen. You are presented with a preview of the latest plans for each grid area. From here, you can review the plan values, download the plan and directly submit it to OCCTO by clicking "Send".
After you click "Send", there will be a final confirmation screen which summarizes the plan you are about to submit. After submission, you can follow the submission status: Send, Process, Accept on the right side of the screen.
Fully automated transmission is not yet available.
If notifications are enabled, you will receive a reminder email if OCCTO plans have not been submitted for an area by 7:30am.
